Rennie medicated gum contains calcium carbonate which neutralizes excess stomach acid by turning it into water & other natural substances. Calcium carbonate reduces acidity in the esophagus, as well as the stomach, the substances formed are then eliminated by your body.
DOSAGE
HOW TO USE
The recommended dosage is one or two pieces of medicated chewing gum. Do not exceed the stated dose of ten pieces per day. Prolonged use should be avoided. If symptoms persist after 14 days further medical advice should be sought.
Rennie is suitable for use in pregnancy or when breastfeeding if taken as instructed. Because this product contains a significant amount of calcium, pregnant women should not exceed the maximum daily dose, should not use the product for more than 14 days and should avoid consuming large amounts of milk or other dairy products at the same time.
Medicines can affect the unborn baby. Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine in pregnancy.
